The young woman heard the sickening crack which came from the thief, making a smile creep on her lips. In a way the girl was happy at least one of the students were able to harm the human granted that the bloody man still had what they needed. Her hand gripped the shield in her hand tighter as the sword on her back gently patted her back. The vampire glanced from side to side, feet carrying her forward, in order to keep up with the hybrid child. Granted that the simple task wasn’t proving to be much of a challenge. Yes, Lyn was much faster than a normal human being though at times it didn’t feel like it. In a way time always seemed to stand still for Keri when running. The feeling was great in some aspects but in others it didn’t allow her to feel human.
 
Perhaps it was due to the newly piling stress that had began to make her feel this way. Maybe it was worry about her lover that added this unfamiliar though inside her mind. Whatever it was the vampire didn’t enjoy the feeling. She made a mental note to see her teacher in order to release some of her anger out again. Maybe ask him to train with her after this damn mission was over.
 
In the corner of Keri’s eyes was the color red showing in the light. This was the main thing that seemed to drag her out of her trance like thoughts. Ssarak’s words filled the girl’s mind granted that they didn’t make much sense at the moment. When her eyes caught a sliver a light then his words made much more sense. She managed to see a figure go upwards towards the rooftops and decided to follow suit, mentally bring thankful that the person was Lyn.
