Lunise's stiffness in front of Meesei eased when she was embraced. She had been her professional self all day, only now allowing herself an unabridged show of affection. To say that Lunise was curious about the gift Meesei presented was not a complete picture. She was caught breathing in, unsure of what to say. As Meesei explained its purpose, she took the ring between her fingers and turned it curiously in front of her forward-held head. "Impressive," she said. A hint of amusement warmed her lips. "I am sure a skilled bard could orate a romantic meaning in such a device." Her eyes peered up to Meesei. "You went out of your way for this, do not deny it." She slid off a glove and donned the ring over her left finger. After one final inspection, she brought her ring hand around Meesei's head and pulled her to place a kiss on the top of her head. "I appreciate this, Meesei. You have my thanks." An apprehensive thought came over Lunise as she looked down on the ring's gem. It made her lower her brow slightly as she walked over to the chair by her desk. "I wish I could wear this all the time. Even the sentiment is valuable, but..." She breathed in to think. "I trust you will understand if I must leave it elsewhere during certain meetings or activities?" She turned around her chair to face out from the desk and took a seat, turning the ring on her finger. The bed was nearby to sit upon, as was a stool in the corner of the room, if Meesei felt so inclined.
