Edward Storm heard something about a bank robbery on his police scanner just moments before the High Clairvoyant alerted everyone in the city to an attack by the Swarm Rats.  In the next instant, the police scanner was abuzz with chatter coordinating a perimeter and dealing with the rats, and it seemed everyone had forgotten about the bank robbery.  Edward wasn't the best fighter, but he was good at stopping small-time criminals and bank robbers and the like, so while he wouldn't be much use against the swarm, he could certainly do something about the bank robbery.  He had just closed the shop when the alert had come on the scanner, so all he had to do was throw his coat on, grab his staff, and Magus was off running to the bank, using the wind to speed him on his way.

Magus arrived at the bank just in time to see the getaway car peel away down the street.  "Oh no you don't," he muttered, summoning the strongest wind he could manage.  He launched himself into the air and the wind propelled him forward after the car.  Just before it turned down a side street, Magus landed on the roof with a loud crunch.  Well, now the robbers knew someone was here.  Hopefully Magus could handle them.[@Flamelord]
