Good. Everyone was fine and dandy, weren't they? She counted them again. Connor, Reese, Gabriel, Emil, Tanner, Jay, and her; it was a large group, but she was sure they were all seven of them were there. In fact, she was sure that all of them were making sure that everyone was alright-- Gabriel and Connor even kept looking at her and the others. She was delighted to know that all of them cared for one another and held no ill will towards each other. Olivia trudged after them nevertheless, intent on keeping up with them. Just because she was the only girl in the group didn't mean she was bound to fall behind! All of a sudden, Olivia's lips let out a cry of pain as her leg caught on something beneath the snow. Perhaps it was a rock or a branch, but it knocked her off balance and made her collapse. The girl gasped as the coldness met her face, and she struggled to regain her footing. But the winds and the unsteadiness of the ground beneath her grip, along with the heaviness of the supplies she carried on her back, hindered her capability to stand back up. Shit, she cursed to herself, wincing as she tried to fight the forces acting against her. Olivia didn't know why she didn't cry out for help, at first. Maybe it was because of her stubbornness? Or maybe she didn't want to hold anyone behind? But panic began to wash over her as she realized that she could not battle her unfortunate circumstances herself. "Can I get some help over here?!" she called over the sound of the howling gale. Frustration gnawed at the core of her chest, hoping that she would not be seen as weak by the rest of her comrades. I'm not weak! I'm just unlucky, that's all, Olivia told herself, trying to lurch up and get on her feet once more. But no matter how hard she pushed with her legs, the gales knocked her flat onto her stomach.
