[@Hammerman][@Kalleth] The spider-construct kept its rumbling pace forward, the roots still trying to grasp Jideh and Kanako but they were lethargic in terms of pace. Controlling elementals form and movement was taxing, so the roots and vines were more to obstruct than anything. With a nod to his classmate the handler issued a command to his elemental friend. The beast replied happily, one of its large stone legs struck the ground hard. A wave of energy shot through the soil and beyond the pairs current path. It only took a few seconds but where once there was open air and freedom between the trees was a thick wall of dirt almost 8 feet high and 3 feet thick, shaped up to bar the students progress. The options now were backtrack through the walker, or take a side route through a sparse clearing of trees. The Walker construct felt their hesitence and stalked in inch by inch. Its heavy stone legs thumping against the ground with every step.
