Sighing Kikue made her way towards the small office room that the kage always met in during these little annual events. The meetings were supposed to be important, but honestly they always ended up being something of a drag. Generally she enjoyed the dealings of her own country even when it was stressful and full of problems to overcome, but here? Here she was just another big fish in a big pond, as it were. Making an effort to not glance at Riku, one of her two second hand men, she spoke. “Both of you keep your mouths shut while we're in the meeting, like last year. You can flirt and act disobedient on your own time, but this...this is about our countries reputation, this is about keeping up appearances and we have a good image.” There was a firm authoritative tone in her voice and a presence about her as she spoke. Five minutes after she'd finished she arrived at the door and then entered, finding her place in the room and taking it, with a respectful nod to the other kage, and the Grand Ambassador of the Kyuuseishu. She didn't bother uttering greetings, they'd get to that in due time. As she scanned the room with her peripheral vision, Kikue made a conscious effort not to drum her fingers on the arm of her less than regal chair. It grated really, even if she did have a fairly friendly relationship with the other leaders. Sighing internally she awaited the beginning of the meeting and hoped that, as usual, that this wouldn't be so dull as last year's. Then again...perhaps dull was good.
