Kanako ran as fast as she could, not noticing, or not caring, for the pleas of her partner whom she was dragging along behind her. As Jideh separated from her grasp forcefully, she ended up running away on her own. However, she was unable to run for long as a rumble of energy suddenly shot out from the spider-like creature, creating a wall that blocked her path.

"Gah!" she shouted in frustration before turning around to face the monster once more. She then saw her partner in front of her, so she quickly approached him to regroup. She still thought it was in their best interest to run, but Jideh quickly said otherwise, as he suspected foul play were in the works, and that they should use their elemental powers, rules be damned.

"F-fine!" she replied. "J-just a warning though, my control of my element isn't that great yet! I can only create strong gusts! And I don't think it would be very effective against... whatever that is!"

She then heard him saying that he had a trick in his mind.

"W-what is it? Speak, before that thing got on top of us!"
