Spinning faster and faster Zim had more or less lost control of the unit, and soon found that he had lost control of his stomach. Somehow, through the sheer speed of the spin, Black Star deflected a direct plasma attack and still managed to take out the pod of CWM. Zim had pushed his luck too far, he knew this now as he was forced to remove his plug suit helmet due to the bile that lined the inside of the helmet. Chunks of the vile fluid floated about in the cockpit as Zim dug around for the emergency replacement helmet. It wasn't a hard helmet, it offered no protection except against the vacuum of space. But as he clipped it into place he felt the impact of another Plasma Round and his caused the frame to spin, through that extra motion the helmet continued to drift free in the zero gravity cavity, emptying more of its contents into the area. Zim saw as Jaeger put the attacker to rest as his eyes darted over the screens looking for the status indicators. The leg was damaged, it probably wouldn't do much more than support his weight. He would need to rely entirely on the thrusters to get around inside the station. He also noticed his sync rate had fallen. Actually, Zim had felt it before he saw the number had changed, seeing it go from 74 to 64 was a little alarming but he still had it under control, but now Zim was starting to feel the weight of the extra equipment. Zim couldn't help but doubt his beliefs though. He honestly believed that these machines, these Werks, were simply that, giant machines with sophisticated A.I. However, there were those around him who would tell him that he was completely wrong, that they had deep and personal relationships with their machines. Even Zim himself had experienced things that he could not simply explain away towards the effect of it being a simple machine or not. But it was starting to seem more and more to Zim that these Werks are autonomous and capable of sentient thought and it is only through cooperation that we simple humans were able to pilot them. Surely, what happened to Ariin and Paladin is proof of that, but what happens when Ariin got to close? Paladin took over Ariins biological body. Just now, when the contents of his stumach empties out into his own helmet, was that because of the extreme stress of the combat manuvers Zim had been pulling off, or was it due to Black Star pushing him away? And if so Why? Was it to protect Zim, or was it to protect itself? Zim had little time to ponder these thoughts and revelations now, and forced himself to focus on the task at hand. But one thing was for sure now, for Zim, Black Star was more than just a tool and was a proper partner. Zim took only the slightest pause to collect himself before pushing on. "Jaeger, I'll leave that last one to you. I'm joining the center column. Hou-Yi, I'm on my way to assist." Zim reported before spiraling away towards F9. As he traveled he swapped out his Scythe for the sniper rifle from the assault pack and from there he changed the munition type over to the EMP round. They knew that the mist was immune to physical attacks, there was no debate there, and Zim also knew that the sniper rounds that he carried didn't have anywhere near enough of a punch to even scratch an intercepting crystal wall. What they didn't know, was whether or not the MIST would be affected by an EMP. Zim hoped to find out, but right now he needed to get Hou-Yi righted and to stop spinning. Zim remembered his first interaction with the Cruxi, the attack on the terraforming planet they were working on and the extremely good luck that he had survived on. The spinning will first put you into a panic, especially when you've lost all power and you have nothing to guide yourself with, even if you could manually control an atmosphere thruster to slow your spin, you have no point of context in which to point yourself. In this particular case, we were near a non-destroyed planet, so there was something. But it wasn't needed because she wasn't alone and soon Black Star was there to stop her from spinning. He reached out with his oversized left hand and carefully grabbed hold of a shoulder, his thrusters firing to match her rotation before slowing down to a stop with counter-rotation bursts. "Status?" Zim asked Hou-Yi. He would stay with her for the moment as he waited for the EMP clip to charge. Besides, she may need him to push her out of the way of an incoming attack if her thrusters were completely shot. Move: I8>F9. Swapping weapons to EMP loaded Omnirifle. Stabilizing Hou-Yi.
