This okay?
Name: 椎名真美子 (Mamiko Shiina) Magical Girl Title: The Pink Delinquent Age: 15 Gender: Female Appearance: She wears her uniform on school days and rarely changes into anything else for casual activity. When she is off school, she usually wears a pink and grey blazer and a grey skirt, unless it is during the winter, when she wears a blue winter coat and black pants. Magical Girl Appearance: As with most magical girls, Shiina's clothes change, shifting into a pink dress. Shinna is somewhat unique in that she is physically changed when she transforms, as her eye color becomes red while transformed, Personality: A highly driven young girl, Shiina strives to be the best she can possibly be. She constantly pushes herself to try new activities, learn new skills, and convince her friends to do they're best. She looks to the future with a bright hope in her eyes, and does everything in her power to make sure the people around her don't miss out on anything they might regret. This has resulted in her getting suspended on numerous occasions for pulling pranks on the student body and faculty, and she skipped school multiple times in order to hang out with her friends and go to a restaurant, or take the train to hang out at Shinjuku or Akihabara... Let's just say, she is far from a good student, and her grades clearly reflect it. But it's not her fault, there's just so much more interesting stuff to do! She hates indecisiveness, and usually just drags people with her before they are able to say no to whatever she is requesting them to do. Shiina is actually like this because of an incident that occurred when shes was 9 - A fairy came to her and offered to ignite her heart, but Shiina was just too much of a coward to agree, worried about the dangers that come with being a magical girl. As such, the fairy left, and Shiina wallowed in self-hate that a lifetime opportunity passed her by. She felt so defeated, in fact, that she cut off her long flowing hair, leaving it short. She has kept the same style to this day, but decided that striving to improve oneself is far better than remaining a pathetic person that hates themselves. Shiina hates despair above all else - if a friend is feeling it's cold fingers, she'll do anything to cheer them up, from motivational speeches and presents, to threatening the thing causing those feelings. Shiina is the least formal person out there, and her Kaa-san can't count the number of times that she pissed off a teacher by referring to them with their first name. Sometimes, people wonder if she even knows what a last name is for... Additionally, she prefers to do things that require great skill or trial-and-error, constantly throwing herself at challenges headfirst until she either succeeds, or (more likely than not) gets bored. The most jarring thing about Shiina, however, is how bloodthirsty she is towards Negari. Hell, her main technique is to grab them, and squish them in her ribbons until they burst... Skills: Shiina is, surprisingly, amazing at persuasion, and her charisma is off the charts. This is most likely because she is constantly talking to people and getting them to do stupid stuff like skip class or jump off bridges into rivers. Shiina is also a 'jack of all trades' in that she is slightly better in everything - that's what happens when you try to do a new thing every day! Shiina is also great at taunts, and while other's do not consider this a skill, she tries to make puns when she can to lighten the mood. Shiina's most impressive skill, however, is her iron will. She will keep doing something until she can succeed, and putting her mind towards something will make her a force to be reckoned with! This combined with her charisma make her amazing at speeches. Unfortunately, her intelligence is below average, and she is no more physically powerful than the average 14 year old girl. Abilities: Unlike other magical girls, Shiina does not grow stronger or faster with her transformation. Her durability increases slightly, and her reactions improve significantly, but her main power is the ability to move ribbons using her mind. She can only manipulate a maximum of 3 at the moment, and all three are worn on her outfit. Her power can cause the ribbons to change density and maneuverability, and they can move at blinding speeds. They can even grow to longer lengths and grow wider, up to a maximum range of 50 feet and 10 feet wide! Sharpness can be altered, to a degree, but is nowhere near as manipulable as other properties. They are not indestructible, but are far more durable than average ribbons, and regenerate given enough magical energy, which is a good thing considering Shiina doesn't really have the money to replace them each time a Negari rips through them. She knows three techniques: Gleipnir Restraint, her signature move, tightly binds a Negari until they are unable to move (But can still break through if strong enough). Variations include crushing the opponents rather than merely restraining them, but this is more tiring. Cloth Coat, a defensive move, surrounds the ribbons around a target, shielding them from damage (As with Gleipnir Restraint, the shield can be broken with enough power). Finally, Striped Shuttle pushes the ribbons against the ground with great force, launching Shiina up to 5 stories in the air (Cloth Coat must be used before landing in order to prevent broken bones). Weapon(s): Most of the time, ribbons are merely an accessory used to look cuter. But for Shiina, they are a truly powerful weapon!...and make her look super cute. Using her magical girl powers, she can animate the ribbons to do a number of tasks, and cause them to go from soft and maneuverable, to rigid and harder than steel. Ogata has suggested, on numerous occasions, to use the ribbons as a form of labor so they can lounge around all day while the ribbons do the work. The ribbons are essential to most of Shiina's maneuvers and attacks, and losing them would be detrimental to her. Their are 3 in total, 2 black and 1 red/pink striped. Brief History: Born to a middle class family in Tokyo, Shiina was a shy, feminine young girl who sought to help her single mother, Mamiko Ririko. Shiina's father ran away when he was told that Ririko was pregnant, and he seemingly moved to another country, with no records. Kaa-san was never very upset though. She always said things like "Well, he gave me you, so he isn't all bad." or "Don't be too bad or I'll send ya to live with your father!" But raising a young girl is hard when you're a single mom, so they were forced to live in a... poorer neighborhood. Crime was never a problem, though, and the neighbors were all very nice. All in all, Shiina lived a normal life and was never faced with trouble or too much adversity. But that's what made it a living hell. Every day was exactly the same; Wake up, eat breakfast, go to school, eat lunch, walk home, watch TV for hours until kaa-san came home, eat dinner, and go to sleep. Wake up, eat breakfast, go to school, eat lunch, walk home, watch TV for hours until kaa-san came home, eat dinner, and go to sleep. Wake up, eat breakfast, go to school, eat lunch, walk home, watch TV for hours until kaa-san came home, eat dinner, and go to sleep. Wake up, eat breakfast, go to school, eat lunch, walk home, watch TV for hours until kaa-san came home, eat dinner, and go to sleep... It got to the point where Shiina could barely tell the days apart, and had to obsessively check the date to make sure time was passing at all. Nothing was special, everything was routine, and it was an inescapable pit of boring endlessness. That is, until she was greeted by a fairy on her way home from school. You could imagine the surprise when shy little 9-year old Shiina was asked to become a magical girl! But Shinna was frozen. She couldn't respond to anything this crazy... Hell, she didn't even know if it was real, or just her brain making hallucinations out of sensory deprivation. In the end, Shiina silently turned on her heel, and ran from the small floating woman. After the incident, Shiina was inconsolable. She was a coward who begged for change to her monotone life, but when a lifetime opportunity presented itself, she ended up running out of fear! Shiina slowly fell into a depression, withdrawing from friends and her mother. It wasn't until she saw magical girls on the news fighting the Negari that she realized it - She should be looking to the future, not letting the what if's, should-have's, and if-only's drag her down. The very next day, on her way home from school, she cut her waist length hair. It felt liberating, her head held high with barely anything dragging it down. Ever since then, she promised to herself to be the best she can be! Shiina was well on her way of accomplishing this goal... until she saw a hand-sized woman, leaning against a wall. This woman turned to Shiina, speaking in a soft, uncaring voice "I need a partner... anyways, blah, blah, igniting hearts, you want to be a Magical Girl or what?" A look of determination filled Shiina's eyes as she whispered out a soft "Yes" That was a few months ago, and now she is currently enrolled in East Umitori High School, Class 1-B. (Note, I'm not sure if we have met our fairies yet. If we haven't, please tell me so I can edit the history) Fairy Name: 緒方 (Ogata) Fairy Appearance: Fairy Personality: The true incarnation of sloth, Ogata simply can't find the energy to do most things, refusing to even fly by herself unless forced to. She is extremely submissive (or more likely uncaring) to Shiina and her shenanigans, simply sleeping in her bag or somewhere hidden. While Shiina believes she was given a second chance to become a magical girl, in actuality, Ogata was simply too lazy to find a good candidate, so she chose the first girl with potential that walked by - Shiina. Despite this uncaring demeanor, Ogata does care for Shiina, if only as a form of transportation and source of sweets.
