Name Kazuto "Kaz" Akechi Age 15 Personality Kazuto, or Kaz for short, is indifferent. His resting expression is one of "Who farted?"; to be more accurate, it's usually an annoyed scowl, as if he's constantly irritated with something, which he typically is. He's sort of come to terms with being considered a loser among the superpowered crowd and, on the surface, he acts like he doesn't give a damn. He is, however, suffering from an existential crisis, probably brought on by all the teachers telling him he's a failure, but you'd never hear him admit it. Quirk Normalize: "You moron, you can't hurt me! My body is as tough as steel!" Kaz proceeds to punch the individual and subsequently hurts him. A punch from Kaz's left hand ignores all Quirks, no matter what they may be. You may have steel-hard skin, a spiked body, you may be a giant, hell, you may even have a body of pure fire, but Kaz's left punch will, without fail, make you feel like a normal person being punched by a normal fist. There are no two ways about it. "Fine, I'll shoot a fireball at you! What will you do about this?!" Kaz proceeds to nullify the fireball... with his right hand. If the Quirk-based attack does not make physical contact, Kaz's right hand will completely nullify it. If it does make physical contact, it will be reduced to the force of a normal punch from the opposing individual. Problem is, Kaz's right hand has a cool down period after being used, ranging anywhere from one whole minute to an hour depending on the power of the attack he "normalized". Background "In all honesty, you will never succeed in the Hero world," is a phrase that Kaz knows all too well. Below average in his studies, below average in athletics, below average in cooperation, the term "below average" has plagued Kaz's school life for as long as he can remember. The sad part is that he had always tried his best but there was always someone marginally smarter or stronger than he is, enough so to bump him to the lowest rung of his classes. His home life was no better. He lived with an overworked single mother and five sisters who were all either average or considered gifted in some regards. Kaz is a black sheep in their happy flock; the odd man out. At one point, Kaz just... gave up. What's the point of trying if he knows he isn't going to succeed? "One more try." What? "Give it one more try, Kaz. I know you can do better than this," his mother tells him as she hands him the forms to apply to L.O.S.E.R. Wow, what an insulting name, no matter how fitting it is. But like hell Kaz was gonna be someone's doormat. "Fine... one more try." Equipment He wishes he has a utility belt, and a cool costume, and some respect from his peers. But, no, he does not have any equipment.
