You won't have to be [i]super[/i] exact - like, weight measurements on certain ingredients or what have you. The quantity is more so we don't have people carrying around 18 torches, 5 cheese wheels and a shitload of arrows all at once. If you're worried about alchemical ingredients, I'll just suggest what I did on another roleplay: Write something along the lines of "Enough various ingredients to brew 6 potions/poisons of various sizes" or something like that. Just indicate what your heaviest ingredient would be; you're not going to be carrying around a dozen Mudcrab chitins, simply because of how large, heavy and cumbersome they'd be. So, in short, you can keep it vague as long as you're sensible about it, and don't have your character magically re-stocking items out of nowhere when they've been using said items constantly.
