Monty
Monty sat, sipping his coffee contentedly when he heard the familiar voice of Nancy. A quick glance around showed that Felicity hadn't arrived yet, but he wasn't too put off by that, he had Nancy after all. And although he was worried about Felicity's partner, he pushed the thoughts aside. Felicity could take care of herself. Focusing back on Nancy, he flashed a smile and waved a little with his fork. "Oh, hey Nancy! Good to see you! You look...tired" Nancy always looked a bit frightening in the mornings, her goth appearance didn't help much. Monty himself had been told he could be off putting in the mornings as well, with it being much too early in the day to warrant such happiness. But he couldn't help but be excited by the prospect of a new day, now that had not only his sister and friends but also a partner! Oh right, partners, he should ask Nancy how her introduction with her own went. "Things are going pretty good! My partner and I got done unpacking last night, it was a bit difficult, he had a lot of boxes. He's, uh, interesting." His thoughts ran back to his partners slightly odd behavior and the confrontation with his maid. "He seems very nice though! I invited him to join us for breakfast, he said he'd be here-" Monty cut himself off as the very person he had been speaking of approached them. "Good morning Regis!" Monty flashed him a smile, only for it to morph into an expression of confusion. Regis had asked about a delinquent? What delinque- Oh. Ohhh, that's who he meant. Monty grimaced, panicking slightly as he searched for a way to defuse the situation before it got worse. "Nope! No, uh, not at all!" He waved his hands quickly, attempting to show Regis that everything was fine. "See, this is Nancy! She's the one I told you about earlier, she's great friends with Feli and I. Nancy, meet Regis. He's my partner. Uh, Regis, buddy, everything fine! Why don't you sit with us?" He turned in his seat to face Nancy, giving her a strained smile. Well, introductions were going well. Yup, things were just great. Not awkward at all. God, where was Felicity when you needed her? She always knew how to turn a situation like this right again. Another boy Monty didn't recognize came and sat at their table with and began speaking, drawing Monty out of his totally not panicking. Well he didn't personally know the new boy, it was possible he knew either Nancy or Regis, and even if not Monty was never one to deny the opportunity for more friends. Who knows, maybe the boy just felt lonely, either way, Monty turned to face him with a half smile. "Oh, good morning! Uh yeah, at least I am for sure." He thought about offering a handshake, but decided it might be too formal for the setting and settled on a small wave at the other boy instead. "I'm Monty Goldberg by the way." Suddenly, he remembered what he had wanted to tell his friend and turned to face her. "Oh yeah! Nancy, I'm taking cooking this year, and Regis is too! Although I doubt he needs it, he says he can cook already, along with tons of other cool stuff." He sat back and grinned, rubbing the back of his neck. He hoped he hadn't sounded too excited or weird, he was just happy he hand't gotten someone completely rude or crazy. He'd heard of some partners who spent the year not being able to stand each other, and although he highly doubted there could be anyone in the school who was as horrible as some rumors suggested, he couldn't help but be relieved. "And what about you two?" He asked, addressing Nancy and the boy who had joined their table. "What did you decide on for electives?" [@Nyahoo][@Discontent][@onenote]

Beatrice
Bee gave no response other than a similar grunt to her best friend as Richard sat down with her, looking as tired as she felt. She was content to continue drinking her coffee and making her way through breakfast in silence, at least until the two of them became more coherent than they were at the moment. She was used to the morning ritual, and knew Richard wouldn't stop being an even grumpier than usual zombie until he'd finished a certain amount of coffee. She herself wasn't much of a morning person, but her usual energy would kick back in with enough time and caffeine. The familiarity of the scene was comforting in a way, easing away the nervousness she felt at the return of school and the sacramentum. It didn't last for long however, as she slowly remembered the previous evening and following morning. The silence was broken as she groaned loudly and dropped her head into her hands. The evening had gone fine, she had chosen horticulture for an elective, but it was the morning that had her embarrassed. She had just left, without a word to Jeanette! She was fairly sure that was considered rude in most places. Like, everywhere. Ugh, and she had been trying to make a good impression! Letting out another groan, she brought her face out from under her arms slightly to look at her friend. "Richard, I think I screwed up with my partner. I just left this morning, without saying anything! Now she's going to think I'm some rude girl with no knowledge of social conventions! Which just adds another level of awkwardness to our already really awkward introduction." Running one hand through her hair, she huffed a sigh and pouted. "I'm hoping you had a better introduction with your partner? You looked pretty nervous, how did it go?" [@Invader Len]
