In the middle of a forest, there stood a lonely cabin. Birds chirped and sang, and furry critters went about in their shelters. One of the furry critters, a cat in particular, sat on the porch of the cabin. The trash can was filled with old writings, and the cat flipped through one of them. The cat was named Gary. He did have a proper name, for he was not a cat to begin with.

Sure, the magazine was awfully horrid. Pictures of humanoid creatures boasting their hardened bodies lined the pages. After all, it wasn't even relevant to the cat, but he needed to read something to retain his falling IQ. He decided to take a short break from reading. While trotting around the forest routinely, he spotted another cat, who sat beside his seemingly human companion. The man had his attention taken by some sort of cat-girl. He decided to rack his brains and send the other cat a telepathic message.

The cat was soon approached by a huntress, who happened to be wielding an archery kit. The woman closed in on the other cat, who seemed to be unwary of her presence. Gary yawned, and sent another telepathic message to the woman. He didn't mean to be annoying, but he ended up being so at times. He had taken note of that.
