So the scenario is basically that the Zerg carriers are appearing and the empire is lying in wait for them.

I'd start off a massive battle.
Focusing on the pure numbers of zerg that are appearing and beginning to overwhelm the empire ships. With that initiator underway i'd perhaps go with a collab and/or let o0v0o respond to that.

But that is what i'd do.
