No idea if I did this right, if the character really fits thematically, or if he's OP as shit, but worth a shot. Feel free to cast him down into the burning abyss of the drawing board.
Name: Ghalmar Colland Alias/Nickname: Ghalmar the Shunned Rank: Exemplar of Blades Appearance:

Age: 31 Race: Orc. Personality: Ghalmar's appearance, and the slightly robotic gruffness of his voice can be extremely off-putting, but he is really incredibly kind-hearted. Accepting and trusting to a fault, Ghalmar is quick to see the importance, usefulness, and good in everyone he meets. He is fiercely defensive of his friends, but also very understanding and patient. He can be a tad immature and reckless, and when angered is little more than an engine of destruction, but when he has a choice, he always prefers to smile, even if no one can see it. Biography/history: Ghalmar is the eldest son of Ghalgon Crag'tose, leader of the Crag Tribe of Orcs. Where as other orcs can be intelligent, thoughtful, and empathetic, the Crag Tribe values only strength. Ghalmar being the rightful Prince of Savages is a bit ironic. At birth he was riddled with issues. He had various deformities that made it hard for him to walk, eat, or even breathe. He was blind in one eye and his right arm was shriveled and undersized. He was a mess of a child. Ghalgon took this as punishment from the Gods and discarded Ghalmar shortly after his sixth birthday after taking part alongside some of the clan hunters in savagely beating him. The child would surely die alone in the wilderness, especially with the life-threatening wounds his father and clan had left him with. His lungs were filling with blood, his heartbeat slowing. He couldn't even muster up the energy to panic. However, it seemed the world wasn't done with Ghalmar yet, as he was found by a traveling scientist, an old man named Henry Colland. Henry was a twin, and while his brother Harold tirelessly sought to unravel the mysteries of the arcane, Henry preferred instead to research and develop wondrous marvels of technology. He brought Ghalmar back, fitting him with the cybernetics that would keep him alive. Ghalmar was distrustful of him for years, but eventually came around to seeing him as a father. He tinkered alongside Henry, eventually learning enough to handle maintaining his implants on his own. He served as a lab assistant to Henry for twenty years before the man died peacefully in his sleep. It was then that Ghalmar realized something. Tinkering, building, that was Henry's passion, and he had just went along with it. It was time to live out his own dream, and while he hated every member of his clan, the truth of what he was boiled darkly in his blood. He was a Crag Orc. And he craved battle. However, he was untrained and unfit. Even with his implants, walking was tiresome. So he took on a project. In the day he trained and strengthened his body. At night, he worked, building parts and prosthetics that would make him an actual warrior. Eventually he finished. Little of the old him remained. Most of his face was covered and metal and lights, save for parts of his exposed jaw. His breathing was a mechanical hum, and a soft whirring could be heard at every heartbeat. He went through his training course, shattering every one of his personal bests. His strikes reduced sandbags to mounds of dust and torn leather. He was ready. He joined the men and women of the Tower of Stars, finding a home in the Order of Blades. With his mighty strength, speed, and durability, he quickly found himself as an Exemplar. He intends to only ascend from there. Reason for recruitment: Ghalmar has a lust for combat in his blood and a need to be of use in his heart. He also wishes to see just where the limits of his body lie, and how ironclad those limits are. Strength of Will: Potent Will Magic: Ghlamar is unskilled in all forms of magic. God relations: While GHalmar is respectful of belief and prayer, he himself doesn't induldge, and has no relations with a God. Tech: Ghalmar has a myriad of cybernetic implants, most of them for quality of life. Implants to keep his heart beating, holding some of his joints together, keeping his respiration regular, these are just a few examples. On top of this, he has several implants to increase his prowess on the field of battle. He has micro servos throughout his skeletal system to coordinate his melee strikes, affording him an impressive accuracy and economy of movement. He also has small motors and pistons to increase the maximum amount of force he can put into actions, allowing hm to hit much harder than the norm for orcs. His skeleton is also reinforced in many areas to prevent his own attacks from damaging himself. With this increased strength output, he can obviously punch harder, but he can also put more strength into how hard he pushes of the ground with his legs, improving speed and leaping distance. In his eyes he has several optical enhancers, granting various means of sight, such as thermal and infrared. All in all, his tech all goes toward making him a physical powerhouse and keeping him standing and fighting. As such not only is range a huge weakpoint for him, but his life is in serious jeopardy if an opponent causes his implants to lose power. He has backup generators and countermeasures in place to prevent this, but those countermeasures are extremely finite. Possessions/items/property: Several tablets that plug into a normally concealed port on his arm. They release a combination fo cleansing and coolant liquid into his bloodstream and the implants, basically serving as a detox method, and has various means of communication in his helmet. He keeps a digital picture of Henry loaded in his visor that he can pull up with a mental command. He also has Kragesh, a personal transit vehicle that can fit him and one other person. Misc: N/A
