'Damn it.' Mephiles thinks. 'This body is weak. As is my soul. I'm nowhere near what I used to be. I guess my boasting about being stronger than Darkness or Light was a bluff after all. I still need time to build up my strength.' Mephiles teleports away, despite near death, and kick-starts my body.
