'Pegasus!', Shadow shouted through the link, before the white-haired man disappeared on the screen. 'No!', she continued in her state of shock and anger. The genie knew that he would start playing games, and most of it became unfair. Yami lost, and they were paying the price; mainly, in this case, Yugi. This was the second time someone had threatened her owner, now master. First, Kaiba; now Pegasus, in retaliation. Shadow solemnly watched Yugi's reaction, and this was first time she's ever seen him truthfully fall apart. He was a kind, helpful person; what did he do to deserve something this cruel? She wanted to comfort him, once she watched Solomon's soul-less body get taken to the hospital -- for the second time. All she could was give him her full attention, and show that she was there for him. Thankfully, she was patient with him, giving him space, if he desired it. She didn't, and couldn't, let Yami blame himself for his host's loss. So, that night, as Yugi isolated himself inside his room, the genie sat in the middle of the bed, with her legs crossed, almost in a meditative position. She looked upon his lying form. 'It's not your fault', she solemnly spoke up, after hours of the evening's silent treatment. 'Pegasus has his way of causing such misery. I led him here...', the genie looked down submissively, thinking that she was the cause of making Yugi suffer in the first place.
