Because I'm happy in Manhattan and married to someone who doesn't want to go to live in Europe anyway. My friend leaving is just one of MANY reasons I hate Trump, but I'm not about to uproot my life because he's an asshat. I will miss my friend, however. (On the plus side -- I'll have a free place to stay in France, if I should ever venture out that way.)
