I was planning on the only thing Griffin being good at magically would be potions since he doesn't have enough personal magic to do much [i]besides[/i] make potions and he isn't all that interested in developing his magic like some other Eaten. Academically his aptitude with potions and the wide variety of potions he's able to make are his only saving grace as otherwise he's an academic dud. Like, Griffin isn't someone who had a childhood or anything, as a person he's just always [i]been[/i] and has been doing his own thing for the past twenty or so years and this school is pretty new to him.
