"Yes sir," Aiden said with a hint of pride in his work. He then pointed over to the rope trigger that was laying to the side of the supposed holes in their defenses. "One good solid tug on that and the trap will flip out from the ground and swing into them. Brisa prepared the vines for ties and ropes while I put it together." He then looked around at their scrounged up fort and a thought occurred to him. "What will we do about their archers?" While there was plenty of protection from advancing enemies, they were greatly open to any arrows or bolts from those small crossbows. This reminded him, however, that he picked up one of the crossbows from the frogmen. He went over and grabbed it, it wasn't a big or strong as the one he took from the bandits, but it was easier to handle and faster to reload due to its lower draw weight. It should be plenty to take down a frog. "I got this from one of the frogmen," he said showing Jaim, "but it only had seven bolts left. I could make a bow, but i only have a few arrowheads and it may be some time before its finished. I'm not sure how many there will be, but i could take some of them out with this small crossbow given I practice with it for a bit. Plus, with any luck, they miss us and I have another bolt I could use in an emergency."
