I mean it's not like the whole bar suddenly stopped all noises just to hear people talking across the bar, so I figured if you're not within two feet of an old Cleric you might not hear him very well.

Edited her name out, then. I assume my PC heard it anyways since she was paying attention to them unless the DM wishes me to make a Perception check.
