Well, this rooftop is getting crowded... Rust tossed a flicker of a glance at Raye as he crashed into and through the Nevermore, feeling a twinge of the old competitive relationship between the two. He'd only seen the other Huntsman a few times since they'd graduated from Shade Academy together. Part of him immediately wanted to turn the current situation into a competition, a see-who-can-kill-the-most-Grimm contest. The smarted part of his brain, however, snapped him back to reality and was just happy to see more Huntsman who up. They were going to need everyone they could get, it seemed. The whole town was looking more and more like an absolute nightmare. The leopard-eyed Faunus caught the introductions the two strangers popped off, but didn't offer his own for the moment. Too much going on for that sort of thing, he felt. Particularly when the massive centipede-like monster came scuttling up behind them and almost nabbed Gwynn. In a heart beat Savage Arc whirled in Rust's hand, pieces clicking and sliding as the bow vanished and the blade took its place. Six feet long, half of it blade, the Hunstman couldn't help but grin a little as he glared at the hulking Grimm over the gleaming cutting edge. With a surge of force he shot forward, covering the distance between where he had stood with the now hovering Huntress and where the monster was pulling itself up, clawing at the edge of the stone building as it did. With a quick thought he activated his Semblance, sending a whisper of geomancy into the stone where the Grimm labored. It wasn't much - to do more would require more concentration than he could afford at the moment - but hopefully it would destabilize the stone further and make it more difficult for the centipede to claws its way up the wall. Meanwhile, Rust dashed to the creature's right side, Savage Arc sweeping back as he moved to trail behind his own right side. He caught the flashes of molten liquid that rained down against the Grimm trying to get to them and grinned further. Now that was what he liked in a partner. "Slater! Go left, I'll go right!" Without waiting for a response Rust dashed in from the right side of the monster. As he did he swept his weapon in a deadly diagonal slash from low right to upper left before immediately leaping backwards to hopefully avoid any counterattack. With luck he'd take out a couple of the creepy bastard's spindly legs and test out the strength of its carapace.
