Also could someone clarify which the current Masters / Servants in the HGW are? I'm not sure which of those in the Character tab is considered inactive / expelled.


The list is currently updated. The situation of Hisoka is currently a bit nebulous, since he's partnered with Cao Cao technically but as Cao Cao's roleplayer has dropped out, has temporary control for a bit.

With that said, the roleplay is currently engaged in a boss fight if you weren't aware, so summoning is currently ill-advised.

Also, I've heard of most the current circumstances so that's finem not like I'm in much of a rush. Reading the recap thing right now (if that's sufficient).

The recap should work but if you're wanting to pick up on the nuances and etc I'd recommend leafing through at least the GM posts and character sheets, NPCs included. Something something "truth of the war is every bit as important as winning is". Depends on your pref though, obviously.

Yeah, I plan on reading through all the Servants and NPCs pretty shortly, and at least recent events in IC (since doing all of it would probably take a while to digest and just blend together). Do I know what Master I'm to be assigned to in beforehand or?

Just a quick question, by the way, but as someone who isn't as well versed enough in Typemoon's Magecraft system to be a good judge, what would be the proper spell length to reinforce a Servant in order to increase one of its physical parameters, if possible?

Nerfed-Manaka (Brand-level) can buff one of a Servant's parameters by one. Nerfed-Manaka is still better than anyone in this war by far at Reinforcement. Reinforcing a Servant's hella hard. So yeah, you can't.

I feel like spacing is going to be an issue here. If the field is wide enough, we can probably spread out enough that it can't hit us all at once.

I'd have Airi bring it up in character but she's a little too freaked out for strategy at the moment.

EDIT: Actually, now that I re-read it, is Nakae still standing on his own, or is Ruler still lugging him? I'm wanting to help keep him safe but his position is a little ambiguous

I am gone for a few days, and now a Somewhat!Nice castle with arms is trying to kill myself and everyone else. I knew i should have made one of the Castle Crashers into a servant! Or at least someone with a catapult or a cannon for a Noble Phantasm! XD

Is it bad that i don't feel this event is strange at all though?

On a side note, i will be waiting for Beloss here to post before i make my next post.

Well, in my defense @Moonlit Sonata It was never stated that the golem's attack was not supposed to be dodged, and not dodging would've result in... well... dying.

Anyway. I'll reply tomorrow probably, or after more people have posted reactions to the golem's first 2 attacks.

For future reference, it's important to keep in mind that while a human can kill a Servant, a human can't fight a Servant. Only freaks like the perfect half-oni or the Nasuverse's poster child for efficiency can do that.

With that in mind, in a situation like this, while a Master being able to respond to something like a normal golem would be perfectly feasible, trying to dodge the attack of a Servant-level golem is analogous to trying to dodge a Saber swinging their sword. In this particular case though, it's not a sword but a castle tower, which makes this quite a few times more problematic than even dealing with a Servant's attack.

This applies to all Masters in this war. Unless the Servant is playing around or very serious planning/precautions have been taken prior to the fight, it should be assumed that attempting to react to a Servant's attack will be pretty useless. But then again, that's why you have your own Servant.

Well, unless you're Nakae.
