"Well, I don't have a return flight, I was gonna road trip back with Vale.  You should take the flight back, you will have the house to yourself for probably 12 hours.  If nothing else you can call Terri over to hang out, she hardly ever gets out to other people's places."

He looks at her laying over him smiling.

"With Route 66 it is almost a straight shot back to Michigan so the only real stops would be gas and snacks."
