I don't see why not! It seems a lot of people want to be military personnel, which is completely fine as Humanity was in total war mode until very recently. Remember guys there are also lots of civilian roles available! For instance, the science detachment on RX will likely be very important too at some point. As for a Master at Arms, you could be really handy for RX's head of security for keeping everybody on their toes?
