[@Zeroth] Laguz aren't limited to Lion, Cat, Tiger, Hawk, Heron, Raven, or Wolf. You can make a Laguz of anything (save for dragons), but they also have to make sense. Most of the Laguz are enslaved by humans, but some are clustered in small tribes in rural areas of countries. 

I'm really not sure about incorporating Kitsune or Taguel, but you'll find out.

There's gonna be a mix of different style of combats, ranging from seiging fortresses to battles between armies. So you can fight with two people in a tavern or you could be in an army fighting against your enemy.
