He could still totes garden for Luci. In fact Grafdakka would recommend it, he needs allies within the demons anyways.

Don't think of it as Crossfaction alliance, Grafdakka still very much fights for the Machina. He's just recruiting the likes of angels and demons to the Machina forces with the promise of power, fortune, and freedom. Just as Bastion was brainwashed to fight for the demons or how Shizuka is an angel fighting for the Machina, Grafdakka or rather Endian will be going out of her way to convince her enemies to switch sides.
