[@pyroman] Heidi saw the doubt in his face, and wrote a note she passed to him before she took a fresh page and began writing a list; a list of everything she'd need to make her skeleton idea; mostly metal parts, with a few electrical components. The note she passed him, however, just read; "I assumed from the leg. I don't think your secret identity is common knowledge. Don't worry." As soon as she finished the list, she raised her hand and asked to be excused, which she NEVER did. Once she left, she searched the full length of the school finding items on her list. She managed to find most things and several substitutes, mostly from destroyed drone scraps. With everything in hand, she borrowed some welding and soldering equipment from tech class, took everything to her room and got to work. There was still half an hour before P.E. She might be a few minutes late, but if she worked flat-out, she should have a working prototype to test out in P.E. and if it helped, she'd try and order the ideal parts and work on the version she had in her head, which may take a week or two. She'd have to build another dynamo battery too. The arc reactor baffled her to this day. Tony Stark figured it out at such a young age, and she, a mutant with the brain of a supercomputer, couldn't figure it out.
