No matter how hard we fought back or tried to cure the virus, it kept breaching our powerful defenses. 30 years ago however, on 2342 April first, I figured out how to fix this problem. The virus did not affect species of non humanoids, so I did test after test after test and finally did the human trials of Splicing. I was the first subject and it worked. As time went on, those of the 3 kingdoms(men, elves, dwarves) were slowly spliced but not all of them agreed to the transformation, thinking it an abomination. Those of these factions were exiled.
