At this point, Envy did sigh and it was followed with a roll of her eyes to boot. She should have figured that was the case and was feeling a little regretful with having encouraged Greed to this point. While it was no doubt a cost-effective decision, it also opened the door to another set of problems, mainly Greed’s inherent and unstable…well, greed for her.

Ignoring his possessive statements for now, she went back to tending her own work, though always ready for any other humans that needed filing. Thankfully it didn’t take too long, no thanks to Greed’s lackluster effort. Envy looked up and waved in the new human Belphegor was leading into the office, already setting aside her own work to get the appropriate papers lined up and ready-
