Well, I may have exaggerated a bit when I said a Vancian magic system, since what I have in mind is more like classic JRPG magic than hardcore D&D-like stuff (since this last one is far too complex for my purposes). I'll have something for you to look around this weekend. It'll likely be a bit rough but'll give an idea of what I'm thinking.
