"You speak of missing something. You make it sound rather unfair when you put it like that." Fendros gave Ahnasha a sideways glance, still smiling. "When was the last time we had a romantic evening on the beach?" Sabine answered instead, speaking bluntly. "You could learn to make the portals, too. You could train to have much more magicka than either of us." Fendros bit his lower lip. "I suppose I could," he said sarcastically under his breath. "Our last lesson seemed like mostly conditioning and practice." "You already knew the basics," Sabine retorted with a grin. "You just need to master using them." With a flick of his head, Fendros abruptly shifted his tone. "I feel we skipped over our last subject of conversation too quickly. Meesei, Sabine, what else can we know about your new paramours? We've had scant details thus far." Sabine breathed out a soft laugh and gave Meesei a knowing look. One lesson with Sabine had not drastically shifted Fendros' disposition to learning magic. Regardless, they would not be beginning their lesson until their meal was done, so dwelling on it now would not necessarily be important.
