I'm good with either or...
Maybe we could do both.

Scenario: Roman meets Abigail at the cafe. He thinks she's cute and tries to flirt, but he's obviously trouble, so she wouldn't be interested (methinks). He's a pretty good liar so some drama would have to happen for her to realize what a punk he is lol maybe some guy walks into the cafe whom Roman owes money or beat in a fight or something and they quarrel. I dunno, I'll write it up when I get to it. Later on, he runs into her again (maybe midday or even a few days later) when she's getting mugged and intervenes because he's still into her.

I was thinking: Because they're both supernatural beings (even though they don't know it yet), they're going to be drawn to each other inexplicably. Maybe in the story's mythology, each angel has an opposite (a fallen angel) that he/she is supposed to duel with. Roman could be Abby's foil in that way. Or maybe supernatural creatures just find each other without realizing it. What do you think? Any plausible ideas?

Also for the romance between them: Do you have any ideas about how that could start? I was thinking that maybe they fall in love before they realize what they are and that they're supposed to be enemies, but I'm not sure how well that would work out since they're so opposite. My other idea was that they both find out what they are beforehand, but by that time, Roman falls for Abby and is stuck in a position where he knows she won't like him unless he isn't so evil. This plot would include lots of intense character development on his part.

I'm open to other ideas if you have any!
