Well, lets put it this way. She wont bring it up unless Deadpool brings it up. :P. Its not unique to Deadpool though, lots of DC heroes do it too. Watch Batman the Brave and the Bold to know what I mean :P. DC just isn't much one for comedy hence why they only exist because Batman. Its a shame, Brave and the Bold had some GOLDEN things. Birds of Prey song anyone?
Alrighty then... so as a Co-GM, someone who (on occasion) watches that particular show when I'm home during the day (though now that's just a little harder considering I have a new job), and with the fact that I'm the one who is making the daughter of Deadpool, I feel like I should jump in here. So just to put it out there- the Birds Of Prey song that you're on about does not actually break the forth wall in any way, shape or form. It mentions several big names of the DC Universe within the lyrics, and goes on to then roast them in ways that, while a little sexual in nature, are very humorous as you also mentioned. I do recommend to everyone that they should give it a watch, it's rather amusing; and I have linked the actual song just below this. Now, as for the final episode of that show; while batman turns around in his final speech to speak to the children of the world, and to tell them that no matter where there is injustice, someone will always be there to protect the innocent- that is called a conclusion. Yes it is breaking the forth wall; but it is done so to instill a lesson to the children who watch the show, it is not something that is linked to the character of Batman, and not something that is liable to happen with him, or any other character aside from Deadpool in anything other than a children's cartoon. This sort of thing is also common of reality-soap opera TV shows; where the full cast comes back at the end to speak directly to the audience watching- you can see this sort of thing in shows such as Fresh Prince of Bell Air, The Nanny, Full House, etc. It is a common way of concluding a show or episode, whether it be a comedy like Mrs Browns Boys, or something that ended on a more serious note like some episodes of the Fresh Prince. As a collective (meaning our lovely GM and both of us Co-GM's) we have discussed it, and looked into this matter; and the only Marvel, DC and original characters we have come to an agreement upon being able to use such a power are Deadpool, Howard the Duck, and any of Deadpool's children. Moving onto the next thing that needs to be addressed... Light. I have, for my own piece of mind, re-read over Light's CS in the character tab so that I can once more reacquaint myself with her, and while she does come from the Void, there is no reference what so ever anywhere within her CS about the forth wall, nor being able to recognize or break it herself. What is written there in her CS is what has been accepted, and is what is expected from the GM and Co-GM's; that cannot be changed- something like being able to recognize and break the forth wall is considered to be a power, and therefore much too big to just be slipped in now in order to add to her. As far as we are concerned, and as far as what is stated in her CS, Light would be just as confused as everyone else about her antics; or, if you wish to go another route, perhaps even curious about the girl and her strange behavior when I do bring her in.
