[b]Yay~ I'm so happy people found interest in this! I'm gonna give a little background of how life in the facility was for our characters, that way they will be properly influenced.[/b]

[color=lightcoral] [indent] Life in the facility was inevitably dull. Everyday was full of constant testing, poking and prodding with needles, and doctors touching you all the time. The children were often left exhausted, drained, and sickly from being exposed to so many different substances. Everything was particularly strict, from what times that you eat and sleep, to the amount of exposure you would get from the outdoors. Each child had their own small room with a limited amount of items to keep them entertained, such as: pre-selected books by the doctors, paper and pencils, a notebook, drawing utensils, or special requested items. They all wore the same outfit, long white pants with a white long sleeve coat and a choice between a white t-shirt or tank top. In the short windows of free time that's given, everyone would mostly be talking and comparing about how awful their testing is, or how life would be if things were different, or fantasies about some bright future. Aside from these examples, some of the children would form cliques or start nonsense drama just for the sake of having some spark in their life. Regardless, the outcome of all the testing was unknown to everybody.

After a few years of consistent work, things began to look up for the scientists. Results starting to appear and the children began to adapt. Many escapes were attempted by the children, but a few scares where they would simply kill off those that rebelled kept the children in line. When disobedient, the children would suffer from lashes from a whip to their back, making their compliance more successful. It took a long while before the children accepted this way of living, and they began to bond with each other and see one another as family. 

Although, once the experiments ended up successful and the powers were given, the children planned their escape. The opportunity was too right not to pass up. They casted all their fears aside and created a plan to hide their powers until the right moment, and utilize them to get to the surface and escape. Though it was difficult to commit such inhumane actions, they killed their way to the exit, slaughtering those that got in their way. Ecstatic to be in the outdoors and given superhuman powers, everyone ran freely but, pressingly, became lost again. Many children went their separate ways in search of their dreams, but some took leadership and suggested a plan to travel as a group until they found a nearby town to live in amongst other people. 

They came across a rundown, raided town known as Grelford that is very populated for the size of the town. The streets are full of broken pavement, loiter, and people that are trying to trade their goods that they scavenged. The majority of the people carry close-range weapons such as daggers, knives, and swords, and some carry handmade bows, slingshots, or even crossbows since bullets are very scarce. The buildings that are somewhat still standing are marked with flags that contain weird insignias that signify that it's been claimed by a faction of people, that probably won't hesitate to kill you.

The children found shelter in an abandoned, broken down mansion. One of the children used their powers to reinforce the walls to make them sturdy enough to withstand all the weather conditions, and also to engrave a sign on the door to portray a faction that they have yet to establish. They've been living each day off gathering things from the wild and then trading it in for other goods on the street, or just simply keeping it for themselves. A lot of the children have changed personalities from such a huge change, and such a morbid story. The purity of their hearts have truly been tainted.[/indent][/color]
