“We do not have to fight, but I'm afraid I need something of yours in order to continue. My wish isn't much—just to sweep away all the universe's evil. But I'll do whatever it takes.” Juniper took a deep breath as a drone came and started buzzing out its announcement again. Another fight? So this person was who she was up against. She did not expect to find another contestant so soon. The metal man had that look, one she was familiar with. It was not a look solely by the refugees she often found and saved from those gangs that warred with each other. No, there was some of those madmen wearing the same look, whether they be haunted by their past, or something else more tangible. "A hero? Don't make me laugh." She stopped just in front of the metal man. "What sort of 'hero' gleefully gathers souls to fulfill their own wish?" Perhaps, just like her, he was drawn to the tournament because of the prize, but was not told of how that wish was going to be granted. But, unlike her, he did not seem to be reluctant to take the other's soul. How many souls had he already reaped? Even in self defense, she was reluctant to kill. Indeed, she had just knocked out her first opponent, even when he was trying hard to kill her. "So tell me," She started rubbing her chin, "Are you truly fighting for a just cause? Or is that just what you tell yourself?"
