»  After a few different gimmicks, floundering even in developmental, Benjamin approached the head of talent developmental, the same man who had hired him with an idea for a character: Mordecai. A supernatural gimmick, the character has a certain feel to him that hasn’t been around in proper force since the Ghost Ryder and the Faceless themselves roamed the hallowed halls.
 
Mordecai claims that he has come to help those fans who have become blind to the truth, that through his work in the ring, he will guide them to the light. His promos are mystical and almost rambly in nature, but he speaks the truth and no one questions.
 
Mordecai promises, again and again, that he will bring balance back to the AWE, and that he will banish the fallen gods who once claimed they were all powerful — for now, it is he that holds all the cards.
 
Hail to the king.
 
Though she sometimes stays back, Mordecai is often accompanied to the ring by his queen and his wife, Amore. Her character is that a brainwashed woman, one who bought into the cult of personality that is Mordecai, perhaps unwillingly at first — but Stockholm Syndrome… is a sunovabitch.

» A lifelong fan of the AWE, for the last three years, Benjamin Kennedy has been living his dream. He’d always wanted to be a wrestler wrestling [i]anywhere[/i]. The fact that he’s wrestling in the AWE is just mindblowing, and not a day goes by where he doesn’t wake up and smile about it.
 
Almost four years ago now, took him every last cent in his meager bank account to transport him from his home in Houston, Texas to Orlando, Florida for tryouts at the AWE Performance Center, where all the talent was developed and trained. While he wasn’t very experienced, wasn’t the most fit and ripped person at the tryouts… Benjamin had the [i]it[/i] factor, the elusive charisma that made Heath Ryder decide to take the leap of faith with him.
 
Was it worth it? The honest answer is no, not yet. While Ben has proven to be a sponge for knowledge and has worked with everyone that goes through developmental… he seems to flounder, and it wasn’t until this past six months that he started hitting his stride, with the Mordecai character.
 
He’s set to be called up very soon alongside his wife.
 
Very nervous.

» Notably met his wife during his second year of developmental. Against the wishes of both of their families, they were wed just under seven months after meeting in Vegas, overnight, without telling anyone. It was not a fun day when their parents found out. So far, so good. 
 
Ben has been quoted as describing their relation as a ‘passionate whirlwind.’
