Cupping the key, Connor slipped it into his pocket, listening intently, although he trusted Elizabeth's senses more than his own. There would be nothing that Elizabeth could here, although there was a curious dead spot of sound, like there was something incredibly thick, in the basement. Connor looked to Elizabeth, waiting for her judgement. He glanced about them, keeping his senses aware for anything supernatural, although he didn't sense anything at all. Still, he didn't lower his guard. There wasn't something right here... in fact everything seemed incredibly wrong.
