I know. People are so against weirdness. I once tried describing my interests as "dark" when I was in a mood to write about monsters, and forbidden dark magic, and everyone sort of assumed I wanted to write about addiction, torture and/or abuse. So, I am hoping that "strange" gets my intention across more efficiently. 

And woe betide such pretentious, and unimaginative fools as those who dismiss the glorious, joy-bringing art that is flowery writing!
