When you mentioned the amount of roleplayers that simply could not provide adequate replies, you reminded me of my roots. Never again, if I can avoid it. This site was introduced to me by a friend who was facing the same problem and here I remain! As [@Ellri] has recommended, the lenghtier posts are usually found around the Advanced section, but if you happen to have any interest in Tabletop Role Playing Games, the Tabletop section also offers many roleplays with longer posts. All in all, I am fairly certain you can find partners fitting your taste here!
