Yeah [hider=spoilers]they'd gotten the idea from human machines gaining sentience and doing the same thing in the expanded lore for the first game. Sadly Adam and Eve didn't decide to do it while singing 'Hallelujah, Hallelujah, Free at Last' across the cosmos :3[/hider]
