[@Aerandir] You haven't made a single argument in your favor. All you did was reiterate what I said, and clarified the blood nullification. Now, its not me you have to convince. Its the GMs. I simply put down my thoughts and they can decide whether they agree or not. However, let me explain why the policy of "fleshing out the character in the rp" is both correct and incorrect. Its correctly done when you have a solid well-built foundation of personality and history already made. Its incorrectly done in the sense you are trying to use it because if you don't set down what your character will be like, then all you will do is make a self-insert that can do whatever your whim tells you, acting with no particular rational. Plus, the GMs have to take into account certain personalities when reviewing a sheet. For an extreme example, they will have to know if your character is liable to go on a homicidal rampage just because they are angry, or if they are an absolute pacifist, detesting fighting. There is far far more nuance then that, the other player in the rp need the information too. One way I had it put to me: People have to know if they guy's foot they just stepped on is likely to punch them for it, or buy them a drink. Back to building a character, having a solid idea that is put down in words helps you keep in mind how they will act, and help you stay in character when you are writing for them. Of course, it doesn't have to be full on detailed and indepth. You can and should develop them over the course of the RP. But a strong idea of what your character is like will give you something to reference from. My statements still stand on his swordsmanship, tactics, and bounty hunting. Its all technically passible, but that is up to the GMs. Now this next part, I have a beef with. This is non canon (one "n" by the way, two is the ka-boom kind). But because its an AU, the way I see it, it should have to agree with what is already established as canon, otherwise you have a disorganized mess, or something completely different. Which is fine. If you want something completely different. But this is a Fairy Tail RP. However, if the GMs want, it's completely possible to bend the rules. Or ignore them. The excuse "this is non canon, so I can do whatever I want" is stupid. I said the last part because I knew it was not going to go over well. And lookie. It didn't *sigh* Maybe I'm critical because thin skinned people are not going to be healthy for the environment. But that just a side effect, not my purpose. Criticism is criticism. It doesn't feel good, and it doesn't have to be nice. The most it can be is polite. If you can't take it, then I'm sorry. I can't help that. But you seem to be able to take it. So the point is moot. Finally, I haven't done any slapping down. You are free to make revisions and come back. I have nothing against you, in fact, I encourage you to try again.
