[i]Okay, that's... bigger than I expected.[/i] Midori looked around as the Negari charged out. She'd been expecting something the size of a bear, maybe a rhinoceros, tops. This thing was large enough that "large" simply didn't compute. It took Megumi basically bellowing in her ear to get her attention.

"Midori, you have to move! Get out of there!"

Midori rolled to the side just in time to avoid being crushed under a massive claw. Bless her dumb little heart, her fairy had gotten her head in the game. She took stock of the situation. [i]That armor looks pretty thick. I don't think I can penetrate it, at least on the first try. I'm going to have to make my own weak spot.[/i] She dug her heels in, took careful aim, and cried out, "Thunder Cannon!"

The Negari took the blast in the flank, but its armor absorbed some of the hit. A decent amount of black goop oozed from the wound, and Midori flashed a fierce smile. She'd hurt it. A few more shots like that, and it would be down for the count.
