“Uhh! I-I come from a line of large Kaesstrians is all…I mean we had to fight to be considered royalty. You know, survival of the strongest and fittest…? Ehh, anyway…” T’charrl sighed, feeling a little embarrassed since he was none of those things and explaining it to someone else simply made him feel a little down on himself. “It’s fine, I mean…I’m just not as strong as my parents are…” He had no idea whether he was going to become strong doing this but hopefully he’ll at least be able to catch up to his father. Everybody seemed to overestimate him just because of one thing he managed to do and all the difficulties he had gone through. Those didn’t make him feel stronger, he was pretty weak when compared to everyone else, he just had some sharp weapons and an energy that nobody else used on the battlefield. That was an advantage he held over a lot of people, but in a fist fight he would probably lose pretty badly against the average fighter. Staring at his father as he spoke about the current plans he was very much not looking forward to what he was having to do, but luckily it sounded like a lot less of what they had planned for him prior to being spoken to. He was worried about things like that, trying to lift things and getting nowhere with it. He didn’t want to just get sore arms or strain his wings so much, he wouldn’t get stronger that way he’d just be in pain. He didn’t mind pain too much, he had become used to it after the General tortured him for two straight weeks and when he had to endure a sandstorm. He didn’t want to be debilitated instead of getting stronger. “Uhh, swimming…? I don’t even know how I’ll manage something like that…” he frowned, looking briefly to Haku, “Will I even be able to be saved from the water if I sink…? It would be a disaster if I died before we completed this stuff…” With wavering confidence T’charrl followed slowly after his father, his eyes gazing at the chasm as he rubbed his claws together. This was already terrifying to him, but that was nothing new. This was just awful altogether for him and there was no other way to feel about any of this. He was always used to flying pretty close to the ground but with this high a wind it was making him pretty nervous. Looking to his father when he explained what he was going to have to do he slowly nodded, raising his shoulders pretty high compared to what they usually were. “Uhh…just like that…?” he questioned him as he watched him demonstrate, almost wondering if he was actually heavy enough to withstand the wind. He was a pretty light kid so he had to be prepared. Slowly moving towards the chasm, thinking maybe he should start with his back to the wind first. “Uhh, o-okay! I can do this! I’m ready!” -- Shu didn’t care that it was Krom they were needing to be with, nor did he care that the goal of him training with Krom was to try and not have him fearing his transformation. Barely any progress had been made but he didn’t care, he just wanted to not end up slacking off all the time because Takeshi was taking him around all sorts of places. He felt he understood it now after the way he had been treated at the tournament, but he wasn’t going to let Takeshi do that to him anymore. “Who else? No people want to train me…” he muttered, looking away when Takeshi got close to him. Takeshi probably didn’t think much about it all, he was strong enough and was quite happy to show off how strong he was. Letting out a groan as Takeshi tried to find something to do still he frowned deeply, folding his arms pretty tight as he kept his eyes off him. “Oooohhhhh….guess so…but no go anywhere else! Want to get better at fight! Not want to be bad at fight!” It was probably important what Krom was doing if they were letting him be near him like that, but he didn’t know if Aito was going to be around this time to watch over Krom and make sure he was going to behave. Aito had to help Viral now and who knew if it was going to bring him along too. “Fight good with Shu! No play!”
