[@Jinxer] That's fine. I was kinda expecting that I would have to wait for an opening. Until that happens, I'm wondering if there's anything I would need to change about this character I've thought up? That said, she’s a bit of a street punk and can come off as a little abrasive, but is a good person at her core. Being a good judge of character as well, she cares more about who a person is then what they look like. History: Although Clare was born into an upper middleclass family that could afford to spend money on things they didn’t need, she didn’t find her life enjoyable. Through many of her childhood years, she often found herself hating how she couldn’t do the things she wanted to, and was always disturbed when she heard her parents talk about the middle class as if they were above it. This difference became even more apparent when her younger brother was born. He not only acted in ways that her parents wanted, he even started adopting the high class attitudes her parents tried to emulate, making her feel more and more out of place. As the years rolled on, Clare found herself increasingly at odds with her family as what she wanted to do and what her parents called “socially acceptable” clashed again and again. So at the age of 18, she left her parents’ house and disowned her family, taking to the streets of a city after traveling to another state. Her first few months were confusing, but she managed to eventually make enough of a living so that she could get rid of the rarely used debit card her parents had given her. A year or so later, Clare found herself living a kind of low class life she was able to enjoy more easily, having discovered a bit of fun in parkour after making some friends. She later joined a little delivery group they were a part of, and had been slowly gaining a reputation for being on time until she came down with what felt like the flu. Taking a few days off of her jobs to get better, she was surprised when people in biohazard suits knocked on her door, telling her that she needed to come with them. Power: “Broken Trigger” Clare has the ability to sense and stop or delay any immediate chemical, electrical, or mechanical reactions around her, but it is limited to only those three types. As of right now, Clare can only stop one type of reaction at a time and when she is in the process of stopping or delaying a reaction, she loses all five of her natural senses while retaining the ability to move around. Other: She isn’t very fond of expensive things, and prefers to live with simple accommodations and clothes. She also hates not being able to wander around outside, and doesn’t follow the rules all the time.
