Yikes, i've been here on and off for over six years! I can scarcely believe how much time has past and how much has happened since i first made my account in Feb 2011. When i first started, i was working part-time at a little shop called The Wine Stand that sold spirits and wines etc, a glorified off-license really. Now i'm fortunate enough to have landed my dream job in marketing but things weren't always looking so good. Particularly in the beginning, i struggled every day with insecurity and doubt in myself. I believed that i couldn't ever get what i wanted because that wasn't how life worked.

I think, in some small (or maybe a large, depending on how much i underestimate the power of this place) way, the Guild helped me to gain confidence in my abilities and lead a better life. I've made a few life-long friends here, and my writing has gotten soooo much more consistent too! So i know this isn't really a creative piece, more of a testimonial, but i want to thank Mahz and the team for keeping the Guild running (apart from Guildfall, which made me lose my post count :lol) and to every [b]single[/b] person i've met and roleplayed with over the years. It's been real, and i hope to still be roleplaying here in another six years time :sun
