Meesei was just as quick to embrace Lunise. She had not changed out of her desert cloak before opening the portal, though she had not worn it the last time she had visited Lunise. After a quick kiss, Meesei slid herself down to sit on the edge of Lunise's bed, still keeping one arm around her. "Indeed, we have been in the Alik'r for most of the time since we were last able to meet. It had not yet cooled down for the night." Meesei looked straight ahead for a moment, pausing in thought as she recalled their last meeting. "Okay, so where were we the last time...ah, yes, you remember the lead on that Nord we were following? The reportedly 'invincible' warrior who won the axe wagering on a drinking contest, and who was going to 'keep those Elves of of Hammerfell' by himself? Well, he apparently died of heat exhaustion out in the desert. A wandering trader took the axe from the body, then later gave it away to a local Redguard as a reward for helping him. Obviously, he did not know what he was giving away. The Redguard is the type that likes to style himself as a local hero, and to his credit, he has actually done something aside from boasting. He has been taking bounties on some threats in the area; bandits, unruly creatures, and such. We investigated an old fort he had cleared of bandits, and saw some quite interesting aftermath of that fight. It looked like he had swung his weapon straight through some of the stonework, which would definitely support the notion that a Daedric artifact was involved. We are going to be heading into Sentinel tomorrow to follow up on one of our leads after him. It is not as much progress as I had hoped for by this point, but I am glad to at least finally have firm evidence that we are on the right trail." Meesei explained.
