[h3]Voynich Manuscript[/h3][hr]

[indent]A 600-year old manuscript written in an unknown language. It largely disappeared from public record until 1912 when Wilfrid Voynich, an antique book dealer, bought it in Italy. The Manuscript is carbon-dated to the 1400s. It contains numerous drawings of plants - some ancient, some unknown. It also contains drawings of planets and stars.[/indent][hr]

[indent]Largely believed to be a hoax the Manuscript has underwent a number of examinations during the years by different scientists. Linguists, historians, cryptographers, WWII code breakers. Even by a theoretical physicist from the University of Manchester, UK, who by using the statistical method believes the manuscript to posses the structure of 'real languages'. The manuscript is two hundred and twenty-five millimeters tall, a hundred and sixty wide, and five centimeters thick.[/indent][hr]

[indent]Based on the subject matter of the drawings, the contents of the Manuscript falls into six sections:

1) botanical containing drawings of 113 unidentified plant species;

2) astronomical and astrological drawings including astral charts with radiating circles, suns and moons, Zodiac symbols such as fish (Pisces), a bull (Taurus), and an archer (Sagittarius), nude females emerging from pipes or chimneys, and courtly figures;

3) a biological section containing a myriad of drawings of miniature female nudes, most with swelled abdomens, immersed or wading in fluids and oddly interacting with interconnecting tubes and capsules;

4) an elaborate array of nine cosmological medallions, many drawn across several folded folios and depicting possible geographical forms;

5) pharmaceutical drawings of over 100 different species of medicinal herbs and roots portrayed with jars or vessels in red, blue, or green, and;

6) continuous pages of text, possibly recipes, with star-like flowers marking each entry in the margins.[/indent][hr]

[indent]Based on the numerous studies done, claiming the improbability of the Manuscript being a hoax, researchers of the Minerva Archive were tasked with pursuing the roads less traveled so to speak. The agents of the Archive were instructed to look into conspiracy theory leads, claims of crock pots, anything and everything disregarded by the mainstream academia as silly, foolhardy, ludicrous etc. One claim repeated on numerous occasions during interviews with individuals the mainstream scientists had disregarded as lunatics - that the Manuscript was written in the language of the Lemurians, the inhabitants of the lost continent of Lemuria. Further connection was discovered with the Hollow Earth theory /related Minerva Archive entry #3651-L - Ahartha/.

The Manuscript was removed from the Yale University's Beinecke Rare Book and Manuscript Library, where it is catalogued under call number MS 408 and relocated to the Minerva Archive for further study deemed necessary by the preliminary work done by the team of investigators.[/indent][hr]

[indent]Agartha (sometimes Agartta, Agharti or Agarttha) is a legendary state that is said to reside in the Earth's core. It is related to the Hollow Earth theory. Shamballa (also known as Shambalah or Shangri-La) is sometimes said to be its capital city. The Hollow Earth or hollow planet theory is also supported by superconscious knowledge based on information obtained by renowned channelers.[/indent][hr]

[indent]A lengthy Atlantean-Lemurian war and the use of thermonuclear weaponry eventually sank and destroyed these two highly advanced civilizations. The sub-cities were created as refuges for the people and as safe havens for sacred records, teachings and technologies.

The inhabitants of Agartha are said to have scientific knowledge and expertise far beyond that of the people who live on the surface of the planet, lost technology from the days of Atlantis.

The descendants of ancient Lemuria now live in peace in subterranean caverns. The leaders of these states (variously called Ascended Masters, Guardians of the Tradition, Psychoteleios or "the perfected ones", the the Shining Ones, the Ancients, the Watchers, the Immortals, the Monitors, the Hidden Directorate, the Children of Seth, etc.) do not interfere in the lives of humans that live above the surface. Nor is there any interaction between them.[/indent][hr]

[indent]The first public scientific evidence in connection to the Hollow Earth theory and Agartha occurred in 1947 when Rear Admiral Richard E. Byrd of the United States Navy flew directly to the North Pole and instead of going over the pole, actually entered the Inner Earth.[/indent][hr]

[indent]In his diary with other witnesses, he tells of entering the hollow interior of the Earth, and traveling 1700 miles over mountains, lakes, rivers, green vegetation and animal life. He tells of seeing monstrous animals resembling the mammoth of antiquity moving through the underbrush. He eventually found cities and a thriving civilization. According to Byrd, upon entering the inner earth his plane was greeted by flying machines, the type he had never seen before. They escorted him to a safe landing place and he was graciously greeted by emissaries from Aghartha. After resting, he and his crew were taken to meet the Ruler of Aghartha. They told him that he had been allowed to enter Aghartha because of his high moral and ethical character. They went on to say that ever since the United States had dropped atomic bombs on Hiroshima and Nagosaki, they had been very concerned for their own safety and survival. They had decided that it was time to make greater contact with the outside world to make sure we didn't destroy this planet and their civilization with it. They had been allowed in for this express purpose, as a way of making contact with someone they trusted.

Admiral Byrd and his crew, upon their visit, were guided by their hosts in their plane back to the outer world, and their lives were changed forever.

Another different account about a visit to the hollow Earth was cited by a Norwegian by the name of Olaf Jansen, and was recorded in a book called "The Smoky God", written by Willis George Emerson. The term "Smoky God" refers to the Central Sun in the hollow interior of the Earth. In the book he said that the people live from 400 to 800 years and are highly advanced in science. They can transmit their thoughts from one to another by certain types of radiations and have sources of power greater than our electricity. They are the creators of flying saucers, which are operated by this superior power, drawn from the electromagnetism of the atmosphere. They are twelve or more feet in stature.

Other side note of interest on the subject is that in 1942, Nazi Germany sent out an expedition composed of some of its leading scientists in an attempt to find an entrance to the hollow Earth. Göring, Himmler, and Hitler enthusiastically endorsed the project. The Fuehrer was convinced that the Earth was concave and that man lived on the inside of the globe.[/indent][hr]

History: Aoife began her academic career as an ancient history and archaeology student in Trinity College in Dublin. After finishing her studies and obtaining her PhD in Ancient History, she soon became disillusioned with her peers and their inability to accept new evidence and the more out there theories. Hiding behind extrapolated information, assumptions and subjective conclusions, repeated over and over in the course of the years so much so that they were elevated to the status of fact, her colleagues closed their eyes to new discoveries, obtusely calling the white black and often times even playing dumb.

Disgusted with the mainstream academia she labored to distance herself and pursue other venues of investigation. She was quickly relegated to the status of 'rogue' scientist or the more offensive 'pseudo-scientist'. She didn't care. Those assholes from mainstream academia were so blind they couldn't even see the evidence of water erosion on the Giza Sphinx, as proven by Boston University geologist Dr Robert Schoch, dismissing it offhand without even bothering to disprove it.

And when asked if it was possible that a more ancient civilization might have sculpted the Sphinx. They simply reply: "Of course it is not possible for one reason. No single artifact, no single inscription, or pottery, or anything has been found until now, in any place to predate the Egyptian civilization more than 5,000 years ago." Of course they had to eat that reason with a side of french fries upon the discovery of Göbekli Tepe - dated by the archaeologists to have been founded/constructed about 11,500 years ago and abandoned and intentional buried about 9,000 years ago.

The Minerva Archive followed closely the career of the young rogue historian and her penchant for the less favored theories, lines of inquiry and investigation. Aided in her roughish investigations by a vast knowledge and practice in a number of martial art she was deemed to be a perfect candidate for a field researcher.
