* Name: Hasabe Evans * Age: 19 * Gender: Male * Appearance: The hell is a Master? And why is your friend there in cosplay? * Personality: Hasabe could be best described as one who is quiet, focused, and hard at work. Having been abandoned by his parents at the time for being a 'worthless excuse for a heir,' Hasabe has developed a sort of "inferiority complex," wanting to prove himself to others of his worth by working the best he can at whatever he's tasked at. Some day, he wishes to confront his parets and show them he really isn't worthless. While he does keep to himself most of the time, he does wish the best for other people, and will want to always seek a path that's "good for everyone." * Skills: If "dedication" was a skill, Hasabe would be excellent at it. Whether it's working towards a goal, or just doing menial labor, Hasabe is one who will always find the best way to get the job done. As a pizza delivery man (and formerly an Uber driver), Hasabe is quite proficient at driving, whether it is behind the wheel or on a bike. He also jogs regularly, and has the stamina of a healthy young adult. Being raised in Redrock, he knows the general area as much as any local would. * Abilities: Hasabe does not have any knowledge or beyond-the-surface talent in magecraft, only barely recalling the things his father might have taught (which he couldn't comprehend at the time.) He does know of its existence, or well, he thinks he does. Despite this, he still sports a fair amount of above average magic circuits, and while they wouldn't compare in amount to a magus with the magic crest of their family, they still denote him as 'one who was born to be a magus.' If only Hasabe wasn't such a dull child... * Brief Backstory Hasabe was born in Japan, to a well known magus family that he can't recall the name of. His father, as he remembered, was a very strict man, and was especially tough on him as he grew older, forcing strange books and lessons on him instead of having him attend school normally. This continued until his parents bore a second child, one who excelled in the lessons that Hasabe just didn't get. At the age of four, he was sent off to live with a friend of a family friend, his father going so far as to change his last name, aware that his family has alot of enemies, and not wanting his own son to die from his incompetence. And so, Hasabe found himself in Redrock, raised by an average middle-class family, living an average life. He made it his goal to become a competent person, and worked hard to achieve his goals and go to college. He wasn't smart enough or especially talented in any sport to earn a scholarship, graduating with only above average marks. Hasabe still wanted to go to college, and his parents even offered to pay his tuition for him, which he declined, saying he wants to earn all the money on his own, and thanked them for raising him to be the man he is now. Two years later, Hasabe is living on his own in a cheap apartment, having worked odd jobs here and there until he settled for delivering pizza at a local delivery place. He recieved a strange letter from Japan with no label saying who it's from. They were directions for... some sort of ritual? He wasn't so sure what it was, really, or why it was asked of him to do. The only thing he was told to do after the ritual is to 'reach the root.' Whatever that means... Curiosity got the best of Hasabe, and...
