The guard rubbed their chin for a moment - leaving two armed seemed to be fairly reasonable, especially considering the remainder of their weapons would be stashed away securely.  However, it wasn't really his decision to make.  With a sigh, he looked up.  [b]"I'll let the captain know of your request ... but the skies indicate the storm is coming inwards.  I don't know where your lady is, but I advise you bring them with due haste."[/b]

It would appear the man was speaking honestly, but it was also apparent that he wasn't the sort who wouldn't help someone who refused to help themselves.
